This book started as just an idea until Morgan entered the picture. Her desire to be an illustrator, combined with her love of dogs, provided the energy to move the idea to a real project. Her enthusiasm and artistic talent helped shape the book into an inspirational story that sends a positive message to everyone who reads the book.

Richard Breitbach is a retired USAF veteran who adopted Toffee in 2018. Despite being blind and deaf, Toffee thrived under Richard’s patient training and steady guidance. Their daily walks and shared discoveries continue to shape the stories he writes. Richard’s work reflects the resilience, trust, and companionship that define their bond.

Morgan Kroeger is a self-taught watercolor artist recognized for her heartfelt and expressive pet portraits. Her dedication to capturing the spirit of dogs in her artwork naturally led her to children’s illustration. In her debut book, she brings Toffee to life with refined detail, warmth, and imagination, creating visuals that enrich and elevate the story.
